A rare and stunning Midwinter Stylecraft Meat Plate (10.75″ x 10.75″/ 27 cm x 27 cm) in the Fashion shape and Gay Gobbler pattern. Gay Gobbler is a striking print and enamel design produced for the American market. The central motif is a turkey with a border of stylised feathers and the black print is highlighted with hand-painting in ochre, green and maroon. Designed by Jessie Tait in 1955.
